The chance finding of two images in a state of containment, a video8 cassette tape and a medium format negative, prompts a search for the stories behind their making and the hope of a starting point within them. Through a diary-like account, the narrator tells of the process of adapting to a stranger’s abandoned material, whilst charting the beginnings of another film.
